今日から、Toriiのトラベルコンパニオン・キャンペーンが始まります。

まず最初に届けたいのは、Toriiがどうして生まれたのか、どんな違和感や問いから始まったのか、その原点の話です。
Toriiは、「社会課題をどう解決するか」よりも先に、人と人が、現場と社会が、どんな距離感で関わり続けられるのかを問い続けてきました。
支援する／される、与える／受け取る、そうした関係に回収されないまま、一緒に立ち止まり、考え、歩いていくこと。
この動画は、その始まりにあった、小さな実感の記録です。
これから38日間、Toriiを立ち上げた人、一緒に考えてきた、現場で関係を結んできた人たちの声を、少しずつ届けていきます。

We are starting a Travel Companion Campaign today with stillness, appreciation and lights.
And it starts with stories; stories of what were the questions and observations forming the streams for Torii as one life force to be born.
Where do we stand as humanity now? What is needed for humanity to navigate through the current disruptive transition period? What will enable for us to re-weave the relatedness with self, others and society?
Existing hierarchy, between providers and recipients, those with power and those in alienation and marginalization, those who have and those who don’t, are impacting the existing social issues. What does the entry gateway look like for more equity, dignity and solidarity based relationships?
This video message is a small part of the journey Torii began.
For the next 6 weeks, 28 video messages will unfold “who is Torii?”.
These 28 messages are from those who founded Torii, supported the Torii’s birthing processes, give water and nutrients everyday for Torii to grow, saw and believed in Torii’s uniqueness, sometimes more than those who founded Torii.
We hope these messages will give lights to different aspects of who Torii is.
And. We hope these messages will evoke you to join in hands to become Travel Companion of Torii through your subscription.

Toriiの活動は、短期的な成果を求めるものではありません。対話やリサーチ、プログラムの設計といった、目に見えにくいプロセスを丁寧に積み重ねることを大切にしています。継続的な寄付は、こうした活動を関わる人々にとって無理のない速度で続けていくための運営費や、チームが安定して活動に向き合うための基盤を支えます。
Torii’s work is to re-weave the relationship with self and the system inside the programmes which address structural inequity, such as marginalization, vulnerability or human security. Dialogue, action research, psychosocial programming are inevitable parts in any of the programmes Torii would engage in, which requires trust, patience and flexible funding. Your monthly subscription fee would enable Torii to build these foundations with emotional safety.
