SCCは、2018年から毎年、春と秋に山内図書館とともに英語のおはなし会を開催しています。SCCのチームメンバーのエレナが５歳児以上の子ども向けに英語の絵本の読み聞かせと簡単な手遊びや歌などを紹介します。次の英語のおはなし会は、11月27日（日）①部 10:30〜 / ②部11:15〜です。今回は、クリスマスや冬をテーマにした絵本を読みます。毎回おはなし会の最後に、おはなし会で読んだ英語の絵本を借りて帰る子どももいます。たった30分のおはなし会ですが、子どもたちが繰り返し読んでくれることを想像すると、この企画に携わることの喜びを感じます。

Since 2018, SCC has been running English storytime in collaboration with Yamauchi Library every spring and autumn. SCC team member Elena reads English children's books and shows simple songs and games for children aged five years and up. The next session will be on Sunday, November 27th at ①session 10:30- / ② session 11:15-. We will read books related to Christmas and winter themes. At the end of each storytime, children have a chance to borrow English books. Some children borrow the same book they listened to at storytime. It's just 30 minute session, but imagining the children will read the book repeatedly at home makes us feel the joy of being involved in the project.
