ISEPは2025年9月11日に設立25周年を迎えました！

25周年記念クラウドファンディングでのご支援をいただいた皆様、誠にありがとうございます。またこのページを読んでくださっている方も、ISEPやインターン生達のこれまでの取組みを知っていただき、ありがとうございます。

25周年を迎えた9月11日には、インターン生と卒業生の交流の場を増やすべくオンライン同窓会を行いました。

アメリカ合衆国に滞在するインターン卒業生達を中心とした第１部（日本時間10時から12時）、ヨーロッパに滞在するインターン卒業生達を中心とした第２部（日本時間15時から17時）に分け、それぞれの近況やいまのISEPの取組みなどを紹介し、ブレイクアウトルームでたくさん話しあいました。

アフリカの営農型太陽光発電についているインターン生と、アフリカでのエネルギー事業作りを行うインターン卒業生が出会うなど、新しいつながりを作ることができました。応援メッセージ②を書いていただいた高橋叶さんもお忙しい中参加してくださり、お話しできました。インターン生達も多いに刺激を受けたようです。

インターン担当の私も久しぶりにお会いした卒業生達と近況が話せてとてもうれしかったです。今回は英語でのコミュニケーションがメインでしたが、次回は日本語でのコミュニケーションをメインとした同窓会も近日中に開催予定です。

こうした交流の場をオンライン・オフラインにて増やしていくことも、今回のクラウドファンディングの目的の一つです。ぜひ温かいご支援をよろしくお願いいたします。

ISEP celebrated its 25th anniversary on September 11, 2025! 

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported us through our 25th Anniversary Crowdfunding campaign. We are also thankful to those of you reading this page and taking the time to learn about ISEP and the efforts of our interns over the years.

On September 11, the day of our anniversary, we held an Online Intern Alumni Meeting to strengthen connections between current interns and alumni. The event was split into two parts: Part 1 (10:00–12:00 JST) centered around alumni currently based in the United States, and Part 2 (15:00–17:00 JST) focused on alumni in Europe. Each session featured updates on participants’ recent activities, current ISEP initiatives, and lively conversations in breakout rooms.

A memorable moment was when a current intern researching agrivoltaics in Africa connected with an alumnus working on energy projects on the same continent—sparking a new relationship across borders. We were also delighted to welcome Ms. Kanau Takahashi, who kindly wrote Support Message #2 and made time to join us despite her busy schedule. Her presence inspired many of the interns.

As the internship coordinator, I was truly happy to reconnect with alumni and hear their updates. While this gathering was mainly held in English, we are planning another alumni meeting in the near future that will focus on Japanese-language communication.

Creating more opportunities for exchange—both online and offline—is one of the key goals of our crowdfunding campaign. We hope you will continue to support us warmly as we nurture and connect the next generation.
