【自己紹介】
My name is Do Huu Chi, and I was born on 30th December 1983 in Hanoi, Vietnam. I have worked as a researcher in the Protein Biochemistry Laboratory and Proteomics Unit, Institute of Biotechnology (IBT), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) since 2010. My Ph.D. course started in 2018 at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine.

I did the experiments under the supervision of Prof. Mitsutoshi Setou, the head Department of Cellular & Molecular Anatomy. I began the project on Desorption electrospray ionization mass spectrometry imaging (DESI-MSI), a tool to provide necessary information for basic research and practical applications in clinical diagnosis and biomarker discovery. I tried to improve the signal intensity and imaging quality. Subsequently, I studied the NAD+ molecule (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), a potential molecule of anti-aging and longevity. Our group has successfully proved that consuming omega-3 fatty acids raises NAD+ levels in the aortic arch of ApoE-/- mice. These data were published in the arteriosclerosis, thrombosis, and vascular biology (ATVB) journal.

I am a person with a warm heart. Charity activities of social organizations always have a certain attraction. I can participate in activities to clean up the environment and care for the animals. Those are activities that help me relax after the intense work of studying science experiments. Contributing to the community is a meaningful activity about humanity, so let's promote these activities together.
