Birthday Donation Fundraiser for Palestine

Thank you for your attention to our Birthday Donation Page. This is Carissa and Kanu's first joint project to help Accept International, the non-governmental organization we have supported for many years. Carissa, an English teacher in Japan, helped with translating parts of the Accept International website and other research reports. Kanu, a correctional psychologist, assisted developing empowerment programs for youths in conflict zones.

Accept International calls for collective actions(only available in Japanese) to provide 1) emergency humanitarian assistance to Gaza and 2) the platform for dialogues by young agents of peace in Palestine. This campaign goes on until the end of January 2026. Coincidentially, we were born in December and January. So we decided to donate our birthdays this winter for peacebuilding and helping people in need.

We are mindful that Accept International will make changes for a family of 6 in Palestine by:

• ¥5000→water supply for 1 month,
• ¥10000→food supply for 10 days,
• ¥50000→cold weather gear

Our birthday donation goal is to make ¥30000 for providing a family with sufficient food for 1 month.

Notes for donators:

1. All donations are greatly appreciated. We would also be grateful for your help in spreading the word for others to support this worthwhile cause.
2. All of your contributions will be directly used for social good. We will be paying for the transaction fee for the Syncable platform at the end of this project.

バースデードネーションのページをご覧いただき、ありがとうございます。今回の夫婦共同プロジェクトは、長年夫婦で関わっているNPO法人アクセプトインターナショナルのお手伝いをしたく、立ち上げたものです。

アクセプトインターナショナルでは、1)ガザへの緊急人道支援、2)パレスチナの若き平和の担い手たちの対話の場づくりを行うため、１月末まで、特別な寄付キャンペーンを行っています。奇遇にも１２月と１月が誕生日である夫婦として、この冬のバースデーは、平和構築と、助けを必要としている人たちに捧げることにしました。

団体のキャンペーンでは、パレスチナの６人家族に対して、以下のような支援ができます。

• ¥5000→１か月分の飲料水
• ¥10000→10日文の食料パッケージ
• ¥50000→冬を乗り越える防寒着と毛布

今回のバースデードネーションでは、１か月分の食料を１世帯に届けることを期し、30000円と目標設定しています。
