ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻からまもなく3年。戦況が日本のニュースで取り上げられることも少なくなっていますが、現状は厳しく、避難していた方々が侵攻前の平穏な生活を取り戻すにはまだ多くの課題が残っています。このプロジェクトは、日本に避難しているウクライナの方々が自立した生活を築けるようなサポートを目的として始まりました。日本語教育や就労支援を中心にサポートを行っています。
これまでの成果：
・日本語学習支援：年間180回の日本語能力試験（N4〜N2レベル）を目指したオンラインレッスンを提供しています。参加者からは「自信を持って日本語を話せるようになった」との声も届いています。
・就労支援：履歴書の作成や面接指導を通じて、ビジネス日本語や日本の職場文化を学び、実践的なスキルを習得。2022年以降、計20名の方々を支援し、就職に成功した方々も増えています。

Nearly three years have passed since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. While media coverage in Japan has decreased, the situation remains severe, and many displaced Ukrainians still face significant challenges in rebuilding their lives. This project was launched to support Ukrainian refugees in Japan, helping them establish independent lives through Japanese language education and employment support.
Our Achievements So Far:
Japanese Language Support: We provide 180 online Japanese lessons annually, aiming to help learners pass the JLPT (N4–N2 levels). Many participants have shared that they gained confidence in speaking Japanese.
Employment Support: Through resume writing assistance and interview training, participants learn business Japanese and workplace culture in Japan while developing practical skills. Since 2022, we have supported 20 individuals, and the number of successful job placements continues to grow.

■ ウクライナ避難民支援プロジェクトの目的
2022年2月に始まったロシアによる侵攻を受け、多くのウクライナ人の方々が国外に避難されました。2024年2月時点で約2,000名のウクライナ避難民が日本に居住しています。このプロジェクトは、日本に避難したウクライナの方々が安心して生活基盤を築き、日本での自立した生活を手に入れられるようサポートするために始まりました。
NPO法人日本語とエクスチェンジの会では日本語教育のみならず就職支援も行っています。今後日本社会でのキャリア構築を見据えた支援を通じて、日本社会での生活適応、そして自身の望むキャリアパスを築けるよう支援しています。
紛争が続く中、ウクライナに帰国する道は険しく、多くのウクライナ避難民の方々が日本で生活を再建する必要に迫られています。このプロジェクトを継続することで、ウクライナ避難民の方々が安心して日本で暮らせるよう、支えを提供してまいります。
Purpose of the Ukrainian Refugee Support Project
Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, many Ukrainians were forced to flee their homeland. As of February 2024, approximately 2,000 Ukrainian refugees reside in Japan. This project was launched to support those who have sought refuge in Japan, helping them establish a stable foundation and achieve independent lives.
At NPO Japanese and Language Exchange Group, we provide not only Japanese language education but also employment support. Our goal is to assist Ukrainian refugees in adapting to life in Japan and building career paths that align with their aspirations, ensuring their long-term success in Japanese society.
With the ongoing conflict, returning to Ukraine remains a difficult path for many, making it essential for them to rebuild their lives in Japan. By continuing this project, we aim to provide the necessary support to help Ukrainian refugees live in Japan with a sense of security and hope for the future.
■ 寄付金が必要な理由
このプロジェクトは2022年に始まり、2024年で3年目を迎えます。
開始当初より某財団様の支援により運営してきましたが、2023年は想定を超える受益者への対応や希望に合わせた授業の実施により、125,237円の赤字が生じました。さらに、2024年度からは某財団様の支援が総費用の80％に減少し、残りの20％（20万円）の不足が見込まれています。
プロジェクト継続のためには、合計325,237円（2023年度の赤字分125,237円と2024年度の不足分20万円）を補填する必要があります。安定した支援の継続には皆様からのご支援が不可欠です。寄付金は全額、このプロジェクトの運営費として活用されます。
Why Your Support Matters
This project began in 2022 and is now in its third year in 2024.
Since its inception, we have operated with the support of a certain foundation. However, in 2023, the number of beneficiaries exceeded initial expectations, and additional classes were provided to meet their needs, resulting in a deficit of 125,237 yen.
Furthermore, starting in 2024, the foundation's financial support has been reduced to 80% of the total project cost, leaving a shortfall of 200,000 yen (20%).
To sustain this project, we need to cover a total of 325,237 yen, which includes the 125,237 yen deficit from 2023 and the 200,000 yen shortfall for 2024.

■ 寄付金の使い道
ウクライナ避難民支援プロジェクトでは、年間180回の日本語レッスンと25回の就職支援を行っています。このプロジェクト運営には年間100万円が必要です。
2023年度は想定を超える受益者と個々の希望に合わせたクラス開講により125,237円の赤字が発生、2024年度からは某財団様による支援が費用の80%のみに減少するため、残り20％の運営資金の捻出が必要です。
皆さまからのご寄付は、困難な状況にいる移民・難民の方々のための日本語教育および就職支援の運営資金として、大切に使わせていただきます。
＊2025年度以降は、ウクライナからの避難民支援に加え、さまざまな国から日本にこられた移民・難民の方々を対象とした支援へと拡大する予定です。母国を離れざるを得ない方々として、ミャンマー、シリア、アフガニスタン、パレスチナなどから来られた支援を要する方々を想定しています。
How Your Donations Will Be Used
The Ukrainian Refugee Support Project provides 180 Japanese language lessons and 25 employment support sessions annually. To sustain this project, an annual budget of 1,000,000 yen is required.
In 2023, due to a higher-than-expected number of beneficiaries and customized class offerings to meet individual needs, a deficit of 125,237 yen occurred. Additionally, from 2024, financial support from a certain foundation has been reduced to 80% of the total cost, meaning we need to secure the remaining 20% of operational funding.
Your donations will be used carefully to support Japanese language education and employment assistance for immigrants and refugees facing difficult circumstances.
※ From 2025 onwards, we plan to expand our support beyond Ukrainian refugees to include migrants and refugees from various countries who have been forced to leave their homelands. This includes individuals from Myanmar, Syria, Afghanistan, Palestine, and other regions in need of assistance.
